    Residential Asbestos Services

    Each year, ECG performs hundreds of residential asbestos projects throughout the greater Chicagoland area. Often, asbestos services are needed for:
    • Renovation projects
    • Demolition projects
    • Property transactions
    • Clearance testing following asbestos removal projects
    • Plumbing and boiler repairs

    Asbestos Material Testing

    ECG can respond to a request for a residential asbestos inspection within 24 hours. During the inspection, ECG will collect samples of possible asbestos-containing materials. The samples will then be sent to a laboratory for analysis in order to confirm or rule out the presence of asbestos fibers. Following laboratory analysis, ECG can immediately issue an email report to the customer, and a written report shortly thereafter.

    Asbestos Air Testing

    ECG can also collect air samples to check the concentrations of airborne asbestos fibers. This is often done after an asbestos removal project has been completed in the home to ensure that the work areas are safe for re-occupancy. The asbestos air samples can be collected and analyzed on site. Results are available within one hour of sample collection.
