Environmental Services for Governmental Clients

ECG has many years of experience working with governmental entities ranging from small municipalities to the federal government. This experience makes ECG exceptionally qualified to provide services that help governmental customers make informed decisions and meet their policy goals.

For the past 10 years, ECG has maintained a contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). As part of that contract, ECG conducted comprehensive asbestos and lead-paint inspections for all of their main buildings in the six-state Region 5 area. Those projects required full background checks for ECG field personnel. ECG completed the project on time and under budget.

In addition, ECG has contracts with state and municipal governments. The contracts include providing services such as:

• Asbestos inspections
• Lead-based paint testing and abatement
• Mold assessments and abatement
• Contaminated site cleanup
• Soil and groundwater testing
• Indoor air quality investigations and testing
• Radon testing
• Domestic water testing

Our past governmental clients include:
• U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)
• Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT)
• Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC)
• The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA)
• The Illinois Capital Development Board
